Right
from the start Lefkada will impress
you with its contrasts. It is
a very beautiful island in the
Ionian sea lying between Corfu
and Cephalonia, so close to the
western shores of Akarnania that
it is directly connected to the
mainland by a bridge 50 meters
long. It is a mountainous island
with steep cliffs and marvellous
sandy beaches. It has hospitable
people, many noteworthy sihts
and a rich past that began way
before the Homeric period.
Golden sand beaches, deep blue
or emerald wathers embrace the
whole island. Here you can have
the vacation you have always dreamed

or, if you prefer, full of intensity,

the west of the island in the
village of Kalamitsi, 5km after
the village of Agios Nikitas.
The numerous beaches that surround
this village are of the most beautiful
Lefkas has to offer: Kathisma,
Porto Katsiki, Mylos, Pefkoulia,
Egremnoi, Gyalos.
This village stands on a saddle
above the sea, over which it gives
the impression of hovering.
From the upper part of the village
there is a marvellous view down
to the beaches.
Kalamitsi is almost untouched
by tourism: an ideal place to
wander through the alleyways and
see what everyday life in a simple
Lefkadan village is like. |

Studios suitable for 2 –
5 persons ( the studios for 4
or 5 persons are double-storey)
are surrounded by a big green
garden with many tropical trees
and hundreds of flowers.
Studios have a private bathroom,
balcony, full equipped kitchen,
air-condition,TV, private parking,
and an area for barbecue and basketball.
